I currently own a 2007 Hyundai Tiburon SE and i have no other engine modifications. I really need to no how much wheel horsepower and wheel torque an NGM Assassin supercharger would add too my Tiburon before i buy one? Please help
A: Doing some research
http://ngmhouseofpower.com/product_info.php?products_id=32
had a breakdown of what you were looking for as well as Dyno Graphs.
Q: Can a 2008 hyundai tiburon gt engine handle a turbo kit that puts out 250+ WHP to it?
The car is stock, the only thing done to it is that it has a Cool Air intake. im just not sure if the car can handle a turbo kit that puts out that much without blowing up the engine.
A: I would not do that to a 2.7
Q: Would a Hyundai Tiburon change my insurance?
I currently drive a 6 cylinder, four-door sedan and was planning on selling it for a 2008 Hyundai Tiburon. I was wondering if the drastic change in car would increase the price I pay for insurance. I am still classed as a "newly licensed driver".
A: I have a Tiburon and insurance companies do not consider it a sports car for insurance... so you will not find any drastic change in your insurance cost. I would guess it will still be the same or maybe just a little higher, but not by much.
Q: where can i get a turbo kit for a 2008 hyundai tiburon?
A: order it from hyundai in korea just give your V.I.N
Q: question for owners of a 2008 hyundai tiburon gt limited!!?
do you like the car?
tell me why please!!
i get my license in a couple of months and im thinking about getting this car!! should i get it? WHY?
or if not why?
A: Check out reviews from actual owners on Yahoo Autos. Just go to Autos and research the vehicle by year, make and model.
Q: I just bought a 2008 hyundai tiburon... what kind of octane gas should i use? 87 89 91?
A: What does the owners manual say? There is lots of other useful info in there so I suggest reading it cover to cover.
Q: 2008 Hyundai Tiburon GT Monthly Payments?
So i wanna buy an 08 tiburon gt by trading my 04 mustang standard v6 in when it gets paid down enough. the thing is our credit score is "fair" (620-675?) and i want a cheap sporty car (b/c i dnt like mustangs and its not cool that i got stuck w/ one) for a 72 month term our APR would be around 14.20% w/o a cash down payment. so for a $20,170 car, how much would the payments be?
The car wnt be used bc the hyundai dealership in north little rock has about 20 in stock.
N - my car values at $3,425 on kbb
thats just for a trade in. its sold for around $10,900
oh yeah, the price of my car was $9,995 ive only made 3 payments of $267 so i owe quit a bit. but like i said this is a next year thing
PMack - tell u the truth. im almost 19, never had a job so i dnt have any credit. the fair rating is my dads he traded his 2000 GMC for an 09 Silverado 2500 HD thats a $38,000 truck and his term is 72 w/ a $700 payment every month. it doesnt mean it wnt be that expensive for a Tiburon. believe me, if i could buy a new car, i would but w/ the economy they way it is theres no way i can get a job right now. ive tried since i was 16 and never got called. anyway my dad is getting a $25,000 credit raise nxt yr for having the truck.
A: First of all a two year old Tiburon should be nowhere near 20K, Edmunds TMV on those is around 16K: Even if it's some car that's been sitting on a lot forever, it's a used car because if you drive it off the lot and get t-boned by a truck you will be in a huge hole.
http://www.edmunds.com/hyundai/tiburon/2008/index.html
Second, a six year loan on two year old used car? That is insane, in my opinion.
Third, 14% is a HORRIBLE interest rate. You can easily google to find a loan calculator, I'm not going to do it for you, I'm just going to tell you to not do this deal, it's horrible on many levels.
Keep the Mustang until it's paid off (not just down), then you'll have something of value. If you insist you want to replace it, you should do your homework and not consider cars that are overpriced by thousands of dollars. If you don't have a good enough credit score for a decent interest rate, you should make fixing your credit a priority, which would start by not overpaying for cars and/or taking out long term loans on used cars.
Q: I want a name for my 2008 Hyundai Tiburon. I need ideas? HELP?
She's brand new, beautiful, and aggressive. I want to know some names for her, like Tabitha or "The Tibby". Just some nicknames or names for her, please. She is a silver, 2008 model.
lol it's a 2.0L DOHC with APEXi exhaust system, DC Sports headers, kamikaze high flow cat. converter, 35% tint all around, gunmetal rims, and kamikaze cold air intake (used to), but now an HKS Pro S 2835 Turbo, and a body kit. Yeah, it's real white rice right there. ;-) Stock they do have the same aggressive look as the Eclipse, just better.
Names are for fun, my friend has a CRX, and he calls him "Rex". It's not like a cage fighter nickname or anything, calm down.
A: personally you dont really name your car after the name that the company gives it. but for a suggestion I would call it tiron( TIE-RUN). For better names just watch the movie gone in 60 seconds and they have a bunch of sweet names.
i have a honda accord and i call mine Eleanor.
Q: 2008 Hyundai Tiburon?

Q: will a 2007 performance parts work in a 2008 model? (Hyundai Tiburon)?
Could anyone tell me?
A: As long as you are speaking strictly mechanical items, you should be okay. As far as I know, the only changes between 2007 and 2008 model years were strictly cosmetic.
Q: 2008 tiburon- HID lights... help (:?
i have a 2008 Hyundai Tiburon and want super bright HID lights..
not looking to spend $100.00 on ONE bulb..
i was told to use website www.nokyausa.com

A: Apexcone makes High-quality HID kits, and they only cost around $120 for the whole kit.
The kit includes 2 bulbs, harness, and power ballasts so you don't blow a fuse.
These are 100% Street Legal, DOT approved just so you know.

A: you can hook up anything into your dash, just you can't be afraid to cut.

Thanks
A: Way too much money for a wrecked tiburon. Plus probably bumper/subframe damage.
Q: are tiburon logos bolted in or just stuck on?
I want to take the logos off of my 2008 hyundai tiburon and was wondering whether or not anyone knew if they are just stuck on or bolted, i know the hyundai symbols are bolted but i don't know about the "tiburon" logo
A: They are stuck on with double-sided tape. However, there are two "prongs" in the logo that go into holes in the body. So, if you take them off, you will have two small holes there.
You can get a Korean "Tuscani" logo that looks much nicer (In Korea, the Tiburon is called the Tuscani).

Q: Anyone Drive a Hyundai Tiburon or Elantra?
And know anyone who does? I'm preferably talking about the recent models (2007/2008/2009). If so how do you like the car?
I'm considering saving for an Elantra in the next couple years if it's still relatively in the same price range with no greater competition.
A: I have a 2008 Elantra sitting in the garage. Except for a few rattles fixed by the dealer and one recall, car has been great. Drove from the Chicago IL area to Denver CO a week after purchase. To me, this is one good highway car. Gets over 30 mpg while traveling 75 mph. Car now has 15,000 miles on odometer. Switched to Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil.
I will warn you, the car feels very underpowered around town. This is a result of tall gearing and the transmission shifting into high gear as soon as possible. To deal with this issue I merely shift trans into 3rd gear. Now you have rpms and power without stepping on the gas to get the trans to shift.
I am 6'1" tall and car fits me well. Very comfortable to drive long distance. Longest day so far is 700 miles.
One point I will make, stock tires are absolutely terrible in the snow. So I solved that problem with a set of Bridgestone Blizzak snow and ice tires mounted on rims from The Tire Rack of South Bend IN. Car is now safe to drive during the winter months.
Good Luck
